Use of Cookies

Cookies are used to make your visit to the Website more enjoyable and efficient. Cookies are small text files created on your computer when you browse the Website. Cookies only contain information and cannot be programmed, do not contain malware, and cannot be used to obtain your personal data. Most of the Operator's Cookies are only active while the User is browsing the Website and will be deleted from the computer when the browser window is closed. The Website Operator also uses so-called persistent cookies, which allow it to recognize the User's computer (IP address) when they revisit the Website. By using the Website, you consent to the use of cookies.

Which cookies does the Operator use and why:

  • "Strictly necessary cookies" are essential for the functioning of the website and cannot be disabled in the Operator's systems. They are usually only set in response to actions you take that constitute a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in, or filling out forms.
  • "Analytical and performance" cookies allow the Operator to track analytics by counting visits and traffic sources so that it can measure and improve the performance of its website. They may be set by the Operator or third-party providers (e.g., Adobe, Google, Akamai, Brightcove, Qualtrics, etc.) to help the Operator determine which pages or videos are most and least popular and how visitors navigate the website.
  • "Functional" cookies enable the website to provide enhanced functionality and personalization based on your interactions. They may be set by the Provider or third-party providers whose services the Provider has added to its website.
  • "Advertising and targeting" cookies may be set through the Provider's website by its advertising partners. These companies may use them to create a profile of your interests and display relevant ads on other websites.
  • "Social media" cookies are set by social media services (e.g., Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook) that the Provider has added to the website to allow you to share website content with your friends and networks. These cookies are able to track your browser across other websites and build a profile of your interests. This can influence the content and messages you see on other websites you visit.
How long do cookies remain on your device?

The length of time cookies remain on your device depends on whether they are "persistent" or "session" cookies. Persistent cookies will be stored by your web browser and will remain valid until their set expiration date, unless you delete them before they expire. Session cookies, on the other hand, expire at the end of your web session when you close your web browser.

How can Users control cookies?

Users can control and manage cookies in various ways. Deleting or disabling cookies may result in the Operator's website not being fully functional.

The Provider will ask Users for their consent to the use of cookies if these cookies are not strictly necessary for the provision of the Provider's website, and this will be done when they are first used.

Users can change their browser settings to manage and control cookies.

Email communication

The Provider may use tracking technologies to determine whether the User has read, clicked on, or forwarded certain email communications sent by the Provider to the User. If the User does not agree to the use of these tracking technologies, it is necessary to unsubscribe, or the Provider's emails cannot be sent without tracking enabled. Registered Users can update their communication preferences at any time by contacting the Provider. The User can also unsubscribe by following the instructions in individual emails.

The Provider is entitled to change or supplement the cookie notice, of which it will inform the User by changing the date below. The Provider recommends that the User regularly check the cookie notice.

These terms and conditions shall take effect on January 1, 2023.
