HOW DOES mDEX WORK?
The mDEX service is a modern and secure service for sending medical documentation between healthcare providers. To connect to it and send medical documentation, you can use modern web-based DICOM viewers or connect via the software's own API. The service is available to everyone for a monthly/annual fee.

SPEED
  • Easy to use
  • Compression of transferred data
  • 60% less data, approx. 5× faster than GZIP
  • Parallel multi-threaded data transfer
  • For DICOM transfers, it is also possible to parallelize the transfer of a given association
  • (synchronous and asynchronous transfer options)
SAFETY
  • Double encryption - transmission (TLS 1.3) + peer-to-peer (AES)
  • Even the server administrator cannot access the data in any way
  • Stream processing, nothing is stored (not even temporary files)
  • Multi-factor authentication
  • Transmission via relay servers, definition of encryption keys via control servers
  • Certificates for communication with servers are automatically renewed
  • The recipient has the option to allow/block senders and types of transmissions (blacklist/whitelist policy)
  • No open incoming ports, only outgoing TCP connections to control and relay servers
VERSATILITY
  • Sending medical documentation in any format
  • (DICOM, HL7, PDF, DaSta, DOCX, JPG, and others)
  • Definition of transfer profiles for individual data types
  • Setting follow-up actions after data receipt
  • (starting a process, DICOM Store, saving to a folder, etc.)
INTEROPERABILITY
  • API for easy connection of third-party applications
  • Secure connection and easy implementation
  • Scriptable object processing or transfer
